2014\/53\/EU \u2013 radio equipment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"translation-block\">The scope of <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32014L0053&amp;from=PL\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> directive RED <\/a> are covered by devices (electric or electronic) that deliberately emit or receive radio waves for telecommunications or radiolocation purposes, and devices that must be supplemented with an additional element (eg an antenna) so that it can intentionally emit or receive radio waves for the needs of radiocommunication or radiolocation.<\/p>\n<p>The radio equipment should be constructed to ensure health and safety protection, including the implementation of objectives related to the requirements for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the protection of the health and safety of persons and domestic animals and the protection of property, including the objectives relating to the safety requirements of Directive 2014\/35\/EU, but without applying an electrical voltage limit,<\/li>\n<li>the appropriate level of electromagnetic compatibility in accordance with directive 2014\/30\/EU (<strong>EMC<\/strong>),<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>efficient use of the radio spectrum and promote its effective use to avoid harmful interference,<\/li>\n<li>not unduly influencing the network and its functioning or misusing network resources, thereby causing an unacceptable degradation of service (<strong>cyber security aspects<\/strong>),<\/li>\n<li>protection of the user's and subscriber's personal data and privacy through embedded security systems (<strong>cyber security aspects<\/strong>),<\/li>\n<li>protection against fraud through appropriate functions (<strong>aspects of cyber security<\/strong>),<\/li>\n<li>access to emergency services via relevant functions,<\/li>\n<li>compliance with charging specifications set out in Annex Ia for the relevant equipment category or class (<strong>USB-C<\/strong>),<\/li>\n<li>interaction with additional components other than charging equipment for categories or classes of radio equipment as defined in Annex Ia Part I.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And in the future:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>interoperability via the network with other radio devices,<\/li>\n<li>connection to interfaces of the appropriate type throughout the Union,<\/li>\n<li>use by people with disabilities through appropriate functions,<\/li>\n<li>only software for which the combination of software and radio device has been confirmed to be compatible can be downloaded to this device,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Directive 2014\/53\/EU does not apply to radio equipment used exclusively for purposes related to public security, defense, state security, including state economic prosperity in the case of actions concerning state security issues and state actions in the scope of criminal law.<\/p>\n<p>The EU Type Examination Certificate is a summary of the positive mandatory assessment of a product within the scope of the Radio Equipment
